Red Bank Oaks Meeting Minutes 15 October 1994
R.B.O. P.O.A. Annual Meeting: Saturday, October 15, 1994
The meeting was called to order by President Haskel Young at 2:15 p.m. It was held up by the pump house and pond. The following owners and their guests were present:
The minutes of October 16, 1993 meeting were read and approved.
The treasure’s report was submitted and discussed. The cost of generators to supply well water was high but explainable. One generator was purchased 10/17/93. This generator had many repairs and is no longer working so another generator was purchased 6/24/94. The first generator was repaired when the parts came in so we have the two now. The cost of the BBQs was discussed and it was noted the $500 of the 10/15/94 BBQ was on this statement plus both the Oct. 93 and spring 94 BBQs. The balance in the bank as of 10/6/94 was $95,463.26.
This report is to be sent with the minutes of this meeting.
LANDOWNER has been repairing the generator, pumping water, getting gas and he has been available most of the time. LANDOWNER made a motion seconded by LANDOWNER to pay LANDOWNER $25.00 per month for him to keep water available at all times. Motion carried.
The condition of the roads were discussed. It was mentioned that some people have been digging up the road from Red Bank Creek where it has been chipped and sealed. Please slow down and help save our roads. If there are any other roads that need care, please notify Haskel Young. The roads are in good enough condition this year and everyone present felt it was not necessary to grade them.
CATTLEMAN notified Haskel Young that the gates were not being closed and the cows were getting out. LANDOWNER made a motion, seconded by LANDOWNER to have a cattle guard installed at the trouble spots. Motion carried. The owners still want to keep a locked gate at the entrances. CATTLEMAN has been an excellent tenant and we desire to keep him.
A motion was made by LANDOWNER and seconded by LANDOWNER that owners are to hunt only on their own acreage. Friends of owners are coming out and going all over the subdivision. We now have enough people living in Red Bank Oaks that this is getting dangerous. An owner must be present with all guests that are hunting. Motion carried with 4 no and 16 yes.
The next business was election of Board members. LANDOWNER nominated Haskel Young, Patricia Young and Bill Arent. They were elected for the 1994-95 year. If anyone wishes to run for the Board next year, please let any board member know.
Being no further business, the meeting was adjourned to enjoy another delicious barbecue.
Respectfully submitted,
Patricia A. Young Secretary-Treasurer |
