The Red Bank Project

For many years, the Red Bank area had been extensively researched as a possible site for a water storage reservoir. On 28 August 2000, however, CALFED published the Bay-Delta Program Record of Decision which officially tabled the possibility of a reservoir at Red Bank in favor of pursuing more suitable alternatives.

The reservoir would have put several properties and homes under water and turned other properties into lake-front estates.
