Red Bank Oaks Meeting Minutes 19 October 1991
RED BANK OAKS PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION Annual Meeting: Saturday, October 19, 1991
The meeting was called to order in the meadow near the gas well at 3:20 pm by President Haskel Young. The following owners were present:
The minutes of October 20, 1990 were read and approved.
The Treasurer’s Report was distributed to all members present. There were no questions on this report and it was decided to be included with the minutes of the meeting when mailed out.
The pasture rent was discussed. CATTLEMAN will not rent the acreage for $13,500.00. A motion was made by LANDOWNER to have Haskel Young to make the best deal possible on the rental agreement but try not to go below $10,000.00 for the year. This motion was second and carried.
Discussion about the barn on the home place. It was mentioned that LANDOWNER felt that the barn should belong to the homeowners. It was explained that the barn had been used by the cattleman who leased the pasture but that it was a part of the home place. The repairs made on the barn was the part the homeowners paid for its use. All the owners present agreed that it was cheap rent for its use for eleven years. The barn belongs to whoever owns the homeplace.
We have two ponds with water in them. It was discussed whether to stock the ponds with fish. A motion was made by LANDOWNER and seconded by LANDOWNER to allocate $1,000.00 to stock the ponds with fish. Motion carried. There will be mosquito fish included in this.
The roads were not bad enough to be graded this year. The roads will be graded next spring so if you have some trouble spots please inform Haskel so they can be taken care of.
The next order of business was to elect the board members for the 1991-92 year. LANDOWNER nominated Haskel Young, Patricia Young and Robert Frank. This was seconded by LANDOWNER. Being no further nominations, the nominations were closed and they were unanimously elected.
Being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:00pm and all enjoyed the lovely barbecue.
Respectfully submitted,
Pat Young
P.S. – The pasture was rented to CATTLEMAN for $12,000.00.
Due to no rain and no grass, CATTLEMAN signed the pasture rental agreement in December for $12,000 instead of $13,500. As of December 31, 1990 there were no cows on the ranch. |
