Red Bank Oaks Meeting Minutes 4 October 1997
Newly elected Board held a meeting immediately following Homeowners Meeting.
Roads a concrete spillway is needed on the old North Lake Dr. now called Barbie Dell Ln. This crossing to be scheduled for next spring.
Generator Rental This generator is 2 years old and has about 80 hours on it. It has not been used for some time. The Board agreed to sell it to any homeowner that might be interested. Haskel to call dealer to find out what its worth. Generator will go to highest bidder.
Corral Lease The Board decided to do 2 year lease with options for renewals.
Bank Accounts General Checking Acct $59,224.64 Savings $0.00 Electric Acct $10,497.85
It was decided to change Banks for checking and savings to get better interest rates on our money. We will be going with Tehama Bank, placing $50,000.00 into a CD. The checking account will be designed as follows:
- checks written up to $1,000.00 one signature - checks written over $1,000.00 two signatures
We will leave the Electric Account as is for now at Mid Valley Bank.
LANDOWNER and LANDOWNER told Board that they will never be the 2 signatures needed so questions are never raised.
Generator Acct Because payments that are sent in are not always deposited for up to 2 months Maureen was asked if she would make these deposits. Payments will be sent directly to her home and we will get rid of PO Box. Info will be sent to only those homeowners on the generator program.
Because we are getting rid of the PO Box in Red Bluff any bills, payments, etc. that deal with the Homeowners Association should now be sent to: LANDOWNER XXXXX Forwards Mill Rd. Manton, CA 96059. home phone # is (XXX) XXX-XXXX.
We will amend generator program for anyone new interested in purchasing a generator. It will be as follows: 25% down payment and if 6 months late on payments we will put lien on property.
Haskel brought up an incident between some homeowners and he wanted to know how we should handle it. It was agreed that the Board would stay out of neighbor problems. Owners need to deal with other neighbors one on one as in any other neighborhood.
