The minutes of the Oct. 15, 1983 meeting were read.  LANDOWNER moved the minutes be approved as read, motion carried.

Minutes of the Special Board meeting of June 15, 1984 were read.  (Copy of the minutes are included in this report).

Next order of business was nomination and election of Board Members for 1984-85 year.  LANDOWNER nominated the following slate of members:

Haskel H. Young, pres; Dr. Peter Gaffney, V. Pres.; Patricia A. Young, Sec./Treas.  Being no further nominations the above slate of officers were unanimously voted in.

Haskel Young gave a report concerning the special meeting lowering the pasture rent to CATTLEMAN.  All of the pasture in Tehama County has been lowered.  All members present agreed to the boards handling of this matter.

Discussion of the roads in the subdivision brought to the attention of all present that since the rainy season is coming up beware of the creek crossings and the graded roads may be slippery.

A report on the power extension to Red Bank Oaks was made by Haskel Young.  A bid for the 1st extension to the subdivision was approximately $50,000 so we have contacted other contractors and are waiting for further bids.  The group asked Mr. Young to check the cost of bringing power into the south end instead of Balis Bell Rd.  Mr. Young found that the mileage on the south end was 4 ¾ mi. compared to 3 mi. along Balis Bell Rd.  At the same cost we could bring it in on Balis Bell Rd. and 1 ¾ mi. through the subdivision.  LANDOWNER suggested checking into financing balance for power extension to subdivision.  Mr. Young is to have a report at the April meeting of the financing or assessment from each owner.

Report on roads showed that the grading and two new concrete crossings (one at Clover Creek and one at Gridley Creek) were done this year at a cost of $4,900.00.

Dr. Peter Gaffney reported his home was to start construction on Oct. 23, 1984 and be in use by the next Bar-B-Que.

Patricia Young submitted bills for stamps and supplies for $50.87.  LANDOWNER moved to pay these expenses, 2nd by LANDOWNER, motion carried.

There being no further business a motion by LANDOWNER and seconded by LANDOWNER to adjourn the meeting, motion carried.

Respectfully submitted,

PATRICIA YOUNG
