Red Bank Oaks

Power Subsidy Program

horizontal rule

Effective June 1, 1995, all property owners are granted a one-time offer for Red Bank Oaks Property Owners Association to help them with producing electricity to a legally permitted residential home. Owners are authorized to use the money for a generator, solar, or any other means professionally installed to make electricity at their permitted residence in Red Bank Oaks. Initially, the Red Bank Oaks Property Owners' Association paid 23% of the cost up to $1,100.00. Effective October 7, 2017, the grant was increased to $3,500 per parcel and the “23% of the cost up to” stipulation was removed; allowing those parcels which already received grant funds to be granted the difference up to $3,500 toward addition power expenses.

Each parcel may benefit only one time from the subsidy program and landowners of multiple parcels may not receive multiple subsidies for a single power source. Landowners are expected to act in good faith. The intent of the subsidy program is to support the permanent extension of power to all parcels individually. The subsidized power source is expected to transfer with ownership of the parcel. When requesting subsidy, landowners must:

1) Provide receipts showing the purchased power components

2) Allow onsite inspection of the components in their installed capacity

3) Sign a prepared form which lists the components and describes their installed capacity

Failure of the landowner to provide receipts, allow inspection, or sign documentation will result in automatic denial of power subsidy – no exceptions.
