Red Bank Oaks Meeting Minutes
25 October 2008
Landowners,
We did not have a quorum of directors at the October 25, 2008 landowners meeting. For lack of a quorum, the business end of the meeting could not be conducted and there are therefore no meeting minutes for the record. However, the landowners present did enjoy the opportunity to eat and communicate with each other. Special thanks to Vice President, Christine Davis, for single-handedly coordinating the meal! I understand several landowners have volunteered to cook at our next meeting so it will not be a one-person effort next time!
The Board of Directors will hold a special meeting on April 25, 2009. This is the weekend of the infamous Red Bluff Round-Up which hosts the round-up parade, rodeos, and fun-filled events for the community. It’s a great opportunity to visit your property, communicate with your fellow landowners, and then enjoy the festivities of the round-up celebration.
The agenda established for the October 25, 2008 will roll forward and be addressed at the April 25, 2009 meeting. If you wish for an item to be added to the agenda, please let us know. Because nominations could not be officially slated to elect officers for the 2008-2009 term, the current directors shall hold office until their successors are elected in accordance with Bylaws, Article III, “Directors,” Section 3.02. However, Ms. Pat Young and Mr. Eric Kirk have each resigned their seat and will not serve for the 2008-2009 term. Therefore, the board of directors may fill the vacant Secretary and Adjutant seats by appointment at the April 25, 2009 meeting in accordance with the CC&Rs, Article VI, “Activities of the Association,” paragraph 4.
If you would like to serve the landowners as Secretary or Adjutant for the 2008-2009 term, please communicate by letter to the mailing address at the top of this letter, or by e-mail to the board at BoardofDirectors@RedBankOaks.org.
The financial statements prepared for the October 28, 2008 meeting are enclosed with this letter.
Also, you may have noticed that the Red Bank Oaks website has been revised. The new layout will include a gallery section for Red Bank Oaks photos. It will also include the “Properties for Sale” page which has not yet been added.
