The minutes of the October 18, 1986 meeting were read and approved with the addition of the LANDOWNER being present.

The first order of business was the election of Board Members.  LANDOWNER nominated Haskel H. Young, Robert (Bob) Frank and Patricia Young.  Nominations being made, and no further nominations from the floor, the slate of Board Members were unanimously elected.

The electrical extension to Red Bank Oaks Subdivision was discussed.  Haskel Young reported that P.G.&E. is engineering the line and Mr. Bishop was to have a report to Haskel by 10/15/87.  As to date we have no report.  P.G.&E. stated that we could build the line, then they would take it over and maintain it.  If a customer hooks up to the line we have built, we will get a credit of $8.00 per foot from P.G.&E.  We can use this excess to extend the power in the subdivision.

It was discussed about bringing power into the south end of the subdivision or in Balis Bell Road.  P.G.&E. said it would not be feasible to come in on Red Bank Road, they prefer it coming in Balis Bell Road.

We have a bid from a private contractor in Redding of $3.55 per foot which includes 45 foot poles to put telephone line on as well as electric line.  This should be from $65,000.00 to $70,000.00.  We will be short, but the contractor said he would finance $10,000.00 @ 12%.  The Homeowners felt we should go ahead and put in the power now before the price goes up more.

When the final engineering from P.G.&E. is received, Haskel Young is to send the information to all homeowners.

The financial report was given showing $47,422.58 in the bank as of October 15, 1987.  This report is to accompany the minutes of this meeting.

The combination of the locks will be changed soon.  Try XXXX first, if it does not work, try XXXX.

A board meeting of the Red Bank Oaks Property Owners Association officers will be held at the Spring Barbecue and all Homeowners are invited to attend.

California State Water Resources feel that the dam will go in.  They say it can be from 5 to 20 years before completed.  They will be doing some extensive research for the next 18 months at the Narrows.

The roads are in fairly good shape and all homeowners present felt we should put all the money to power and not grade the roads this year.

Being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 2:20 pm to enjoy the BBQ ribs and chicken.

Respectfully submitted,

PATRICIA YOUNG

Secretary-Treasurer
